Our partner in Ukraine: Mercy & Health Foundation
Your donations allow us to keep supporting Mercy & Health Foundation, providing vital medical support to veterans, civilians and military who have been affected by the war.

Who Mercy & Health Foundation are
The scale of trauma in Ukraine is staggering. Current assessments indicate that over 50,000 individuals have lost a limb due to the ongoing conflict, while hundreds of thousands more are enduring severe psychological injuries. Behind these statistics are veterans, frontline military personnel, and everyday civilians facing a drastically altered reality.
Established in 2016 by Dr. Oleksandr Yatsyna and his wife Katia, a practicing gynaecologist, the Mercy & Health Foundation exists to provide targeted medical relief to those most heavily impacted. Built on rigorous clinical expertise and supported by vital foreign donors, the Foundation delivers comprehensive physical and mental trauma recovery directly on the ground in Ukraine.

Clinical and Logistical Operations
The Foundation operates a highly efficient, dual approach to medical support, ensuring care reaches patients from the battlefield to long-term recovery:
-
Intensive Rehabilitation Centers: The Foundation currently operates two specialized rehabilitation clinics running 7 days a week. These centers provide critical physical therapy and targeted mental health support to help survivors regain their independence.
-
Frontline Medical Logistics: Beyond the clinics, the Foundation actively sustains hospitals and military units across Ukraine. They source and deploy fully equipped ambulances, essential medical packs, and advanced specialist equipment directly to areas of critical need.
The Foundation's next major objective is to establish a third, significantly larger rehabilitation center. This expansion will allow them to provide continuous, holistic care to thousands more amputees and trauma survivors.
